In Mongolia — one of the world’s most sparsely populated countries — half the population leads a nomadic lifestyle, while the other half lives in the capital city. In this context, delivering public services and ensuring civic participation is an exceptional challenge.
O. Batbayar, Chair of TI Mongolia’s board, emphasizes the importance of listening to the voices of local citizens, women, youth, persons with disabilities, and vulnerable communities, and highlights why their engagement is vital in the fight against corruption.
Through the TI IPP STRONGG 2024–2028 project, we are working together to help citizens become informed, empowered, and active — to know their rights, protect them, and demand accountability.
